Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was lovely, quite spacious with a double bed and a smaller put-up double that could be a bit tight for tall guests. It felt slightly damp and musty with a shared bathroom, so booking two rooms might be better in the future. The location is superb in Portreath, near a great beach and convenient for exploring Cornwall.
I was a bit hesitant at first with the affordable price of £90 compared to other quotes, but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were bright, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. However, the dining experience left me with a headache, and the chopped salads were not to my liking.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were beautiful, really tasteful, and I loved the big bath. They were spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and all the facilities you would expect plus extra touches like a Tassimo coffee maker, robes and slippers. Having a Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom was a great addition for listening to music while soaking in the bath. The location is great, just a short walk from the beach with good meals, a great bar, and friendly staff. However, there were a few lacking facilities nearby, but overall, it was a superb location for my trip.
